There were many simple and cool weapons.
AF5 weapons should be available somewhere as you progress through the Endwalker story.
Also, if you clear Endwalker’s job quest (role quest), you will be able to dye it.

The paladin’s AF5 weapons are the sword and shield, which are familiar names in the FF series, “Lightbringer” and “Hero’s Shield“.
This shield looks solid and has high defense, so it’s cool!
