This is a record of the samurai weapon “Kagehide” available at The Great Gubal Library.
Ta-da! I got a cool katana♪
It’s a different color from the “Ghost Barque Katana” that Norirow-san used before.
This is a cool saber-like design that isn’t Japanese.
There is a guard fist on the handle. The one point of the star is very stylish.
The scabbard seems simple at first glance, but it is decorated with exquisite balance. The luster is beautiful.
It has a Taisho romance feel to it, which is wonderful!
The blade is a simple single edge.
The hardened blade pattern is also very beautiful.
I also like that it seems to be easy to match with a wide range of clothing, from Japanese to Western style.
By the way, “Kagehide” is a katana that actually exists in Japan, and was made by Kagehide Nagafune, who was active in the Kamakura period.
So, it’s a very venerable katana!
