This is a recording of a convenient macro for setting stick presses for gamepads (controllers).
Here are some notes on the controller macros I use all the time!
You can set macros individually for pressing the two sticks on the gamepad (controller).
It’s very convenient to set your preferred actions.
How to set up stick presses
Press System Configuration > Gamepad Settings > [Button Configuration].
In this stick press setting section, there is an option to “Execute Macro #99 (98)“, so set the left and right to 99 and 98 respectively.
The #99 and #98 here refer to macros number 99 and 98.
We recommend that you set ① “Mount Riding Macro” and ② “Sprint & Auto Move & NPC Target” to numbers 99 and 98, respectively.
By the way, item ② is not only useful for everyday use, but also at The Island Sanctuary.
The recommended settings are as follows:
Mount Riding Macro
With this set up, you can press the stick in to mount, and press it again to dismount.

Although we’ve written “company chocobo” here, you can just write the name of your favorite mount!
Sprint & Auto Move Macros
This setting is a macro that targets a nearby NPC and automatically sprints towards it.

It can target not only human NPCs but also objects, making it useful for various quests.
※ In The Island Sanctuary, we have added “Duty Action I (Sprint in The Island Sanctuary)” to allow automatic movement and sprinting to gather items.
Also, if there is no target, only sprinting and automatic movement will be activated, making it useful for everyday use.
