This Norirow Note has a category called “Letter”.
This is a category that I have cherished ever since I started writing this adventure story.
Although the number of letters is small, I have written letters every time I wanted to send an important message to someone.
I once wrote a letter asking, “Would you like to come back soon?“
Shortly after I landed in Eorzea… It was a letter to someone who helped me a lot when I was still young in many ways.
If I say, “Thank you for your help,” I might feel a little blunt… She was a senior adventurer who told me, “I’m not good at combat either,” even though I didn’t know anything about combat, and she taught me the basics. And she was one of my first friends in Eorzea, with whom we talked about various worries and shared joys and sorrows… It was a letter to her. I’ve always thought of her as one of the few family members I have.
However, because I moved the server, we lost contact with each other for a while (there was no inter-world teleport or DC travel function at that time)…
But hey, no news is good news, so I thought she was doing well…
One day, I heard through the wind that she had apparently deleted her account, and I was worried about it.
This was about 4 years ago.
I don’t know what happened to her, but I was always worried about her, and I always regret not being able to listen to her concerns in her final moments.
That’s why I wrote a letter and left it here.
Then, the other day, I suddenly received a DM on Twitter from an account I didn’t know. But it was a familiar name at the time!
Lo and behold, the letter I left here without an address… had actually arrived!
Wow, she found it!
miracle!
Thank you find! (And thank you God for delivering it!)
Thank goodness she was still here in Eorzea! Her appearance and her name are different from back then, but she was there!
First of all, that alone makes me happy. I would be happy if she were there. That alone makes me happy.
I went to see her right away, it was our first encounter in about 4 years.
It’s been a while since we met and we talked a lot.
Even though her appearance has changed, I can somehow still feel the vestiges of her past.
I’m very, very impressed…
Living in this world, just like in the real world, there are many encounters and partings. Not only good things happen, but sometimes bad things also happen.
It’s a natural part of being human. This is a world where many people come and go.
But, each memory is a treasure.
All the good times and the hard times are treasures.
Those treasures made me stronger. It has definitely become a part of who I am now.
There are probably some memories that remain very strong in your heart, and some people that you will never forget.
In this world, once someone deletes their account, you no longer know who is who…
But this time, we were able to meet again.
She was someone who came into contact with me when I was still young in many ways, and became a part of who I am. I was able to meet my long lost friends again. We met for the first time in 4 years.
There is nothing more wonderful than this.
I’m glad I wrote a letter to her. I’m glad I’m still living here.
thank you. thanks so much.
I am just grateful for the miracle that allowed us to meet again.
And thank you for this warm and kind world.
May this world continue to be a wonderful and kind place for everyone.
