This is a record of all 8 stages of the Astrologian Anima Weapon, gathered together in one place.
Yay~! I finally completed the Astrologian Anima Weapon! ♪
Norico, didn’t you just say you finished the Zodiac Weapon the other day too? That was fast…
Well, she is Norirow-san’s little sister… the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, I suppose. w
And so, here’s a full roundup of all the Astrologian Anima Weapon stages!
Stage 1 — Animated Atlas
First up is the Animated Atlas — sharing the same design as the AF2 weapon.
It looks just like Urianger’s planisphere too! ♪
Black and gold — such a luxurious, elegant design.

Stage 2 — Atlas Awoken
The Atlas Awoken keeps the same shape as the previous stage, with glowing effects added.
The effect looks like floating sheet music — it’s so beautiful! ♪
A rather distinctive effect that’s shared across the whole Awoken series.

Stage 3 — Deneb
The Deneb marks a dramatic design change at this stage.
It’s got little water planet and star ornaments — kind of adorable, isn’t it? ♪
“Deneb” is the name of the brightest first-magnitude star in the constellation Cygnus, you know.

Stage 4 — Hyperconductive Deneb
The Hyperconductive Deneb keeps the previous design with glowing effects added.
It looks like shooting stars streaking through it — so, so beautiful!
It feels like being wrapped in a soft wind… there’s a warmth to it, somehow.

Stage 5 — Lastair Planisphere
The Sphere of the Last Heir brings another dramatic design shift.
It has a set of scales like the flag of Ul’dah — kind of cute! ♪
By the way — “Lastair” comes from words meaning something like “last heir” or “final inheritor.”

Stage 6 — Sharpened Sphere of the Last Heir
The Sharpened Sphere of the Last Heir keeps the same design with glowing effects added.
Oh wow, it’s a glowing gyroscope!
The effect is bright enough that it’s actually a bit hard to look at directly.

Stage 7 — Canopus
The Canopus is another dramatic design change — and this time, it glows right from the start.
Incredible — it’s like a supernova explosion!
“Canopus” is the name of an exceptionally luminous star with a mass around 8 times that of our Sun, after all.

Stage 8 (Final) — Canopus Lux
The Canopus Lux changes the color and effects from the previous stage.
It’s truly mystical — it feels like a whole little universe!
I’m not sure I’ve ever seen an effect quite like this one before…!

Out of every planisphere I’ve seen so far, this might just be my all-time favorite for its sense of mystery. ♪
Fufu — and Anima Weapons are so much easier to make these days; if you have the materials ready, you can finish the whole thing in a single day. That’s a nice bonus.
