Ta-da! I got a really cool star globe ♪

Ooh, it’s a star globe with a noble, slightly antique feel to it.

norirow

The gold × black × red color scheme gives it an elegant yet passionate air.

norico

With the gold and all those gear-like parts, it’s got a bit of a steampunk vibe too ♪

This is a Maelstrom weapon, right? I bet pirates are the motif after all.

namingway

If you look closely, the top is designed like the figurehead on the bow of a pirate ship. Could it be a sea dragon?

True to the Maelstrom, the red accents give the whole piece a crisp, polished look.

Perhaps the bottom part is meant to evoke a ship’s anchor.

Thinking of it as a pirate ship, that antique feel makes perfect sense.

Fufu, antique × steampunk × noble × stylish is a pretty unbeatable combination, isn’t it ♪

By the way, this “Storm Captain’s Astrometer” becomes available once you raise your Maelstrom rank to Storm Captain, in exchange for 35,000 Company Seals.

Grand Company weapons really do tend to be stylish, don’t they ♪
