This is a record of the Maelstrom Scholar weapon, the “Storm Captain’s Codex.”
Ta-da! I got my hands on a really cool book!♪
Huh? Isn’t that the same grimoire you had for your Summoner before, Norico-chan?
Fufufu, that’s what I thought at first, too~♪ Grin
This is a cool-looking grimoire with a black and red cover decorated with metal ornaments. It looks exactly like the Summoner’s “Storm Captain’s Grimoire”… or does it?
The cover also features reliefs resembling a compass and an anchor, just as you’d expect from the Maelstrom.
Perhaps the overall design is inspired by a battleship. Could those curved corners at the top represent a ship’s hull?
The elegant colors and metal decorations give it a wonderfully luxurious appearance.
And the most distinctive feature of this grimoire is its red pages! The golden lettering on the red paper creates such a mysterious atmosphere.
Fuffuffu~! The difference from the Summoner’s book is the magic circle drawn inside!♪
Oh, you’re right! This one has such a wonderful atmosphere, too. It looks really cool!
Ehehe, I was so surprised when I discovered this that I just had to show you, Brother!♪
Well, Scholars and Summoners use different kinds of magic, so naturally the things written in their books would be different. lol
By the way, the “Storm Captain’s Codex” becomes available in exchange for 35,000 Company Seals once you reach the rank of Storm Captain in the Maelstrom.
And now that both Scholars and Summoners can choose either book for their Glamours, you can simply use whichever one you like best!

I’ve recorded a video to show how it looks in motion!
And so, that concludes our record of the Maelstrom Scholar weapon, the “Storm Captain’s Codex”!
I knew this kind of discovery would be just the sort of thing you love, Brother, so I’m feeling very, very satisfied!♪
