Since you will basically be creating this in “The Occult Crescent”, you will need to unlock The Occult Crescent.

A quest will occur once you complete DAWNTRAIL.

How to make the 1st stage “Penumbrae”

You need two things.

① Collect 3 of each of the 6 types of “xx Demiatma”

② Arcanite x 3（Allagan Tomestone of Mathematics 1,500 pieces）*This is all you need from the second one

Wow, it’s an Atma! It reminds me of the Zodiac Weapon💦

What’s quite difficult this time is collecting nostalgic atma.

There are two ways to collect them: within The Occult Crescent, or in F.A.T.E.s in the DAWNTRAIL area.

How to collect “Demiatma” in The Occult Crescent

It can be obtained through critical encounters (CE) or FATEs in “Occult Crescent: South Horn“.

Each of the six types can be obtained, roughly speaking, in the areas listed below.

From my own experience, it is difficult to control the occurrence of “Critical Encounters (CE) ” and “F.A.T.E.”, so even if you know the above areas, it may be quite a difficult task to target and collect specific types.

As you progress through the story of The Occult Crescent and raise your knowledge level to level 20, you will naturally collect a fair amount of them. It might be more efficient to collect what you are missing in the end by doing FATEs in the DAWNTRAIL area.

To increase your knowledge level, simply complete the “Critical Encounters” and “F.A.T.E.” that occur within the area. The method is almost the same as in Eureka and Bozjan.

It’s perfectly doable solo. For “Critical Encounters,” it might be a good idea to ask to be put into a party!

How to collect “Demiatma” in FATEs in the DAWNTRAIL area

Since the types of Demiatmas that can be obtained in each area are fixed, it’s easy to target and collect what you are missing.

According to the 87th PLL, the drop rate in critical encounters (CE) is 20%, and in F.A.T.E. (both inside and outside Crescent Isle) is 5%. It’s not as tough as I thought, so it might be just the right amount of difficult!

Arcanite x 3 (Allagan Tomestone of Mathematics x 1500)

Once you have collected the Demi Atma, all you need is 1,500 Allagan Tomestones of Mathematics (Arcanite x 3).

※ You don’t need to collect Demi Atma from the second one onwards.

So that concludes the first stage of making a phantom weapon!

How to make the 2nd stage “Umbrae”

And now, it’s time for the second form! All you need are three things:

① Collect five items (you can just buy them)

② Collect sparkles by going through the roulette (Hi leveling, Trials, Normal, Alliance)

③ 3 Waxing Arcanite (1,500 Allagan Tomestone of Mathematics) *This is all you need from the second one

The tricky part this time is collecting sparkles, which requires repeatedly going through the roulette!

This time too, we’ll take our time and it’s a so-called “Time to win” type of challenge!

Collect five items

Quest: Keeping the Old Ways Alive

First, you just need to collect the following items:

Crafted items require a crafting precision of 5,380 or higher and a processing precision of 4,650 or higher.

If it’s difficult to make, it might be quicker to just buy them, as they can all be bought and sold on the market board.

Go to Roulette (Aetherwell Array)

Quest: Hunting for the Family

Next, you will do what is called “sparkle gathering.”

Ether is stored in four locations in the “Aetherwell Array” shown on the right in the photo above.

Each one requires you to complete a specific content roulette and accumulate points until you reach 10,000.

Fire (Scarlet): “Trials” Roulette
Wind (Green): “Hi leveling” Roulette
Earth (Yellow): “Normal” Roulette
Water (Blue): “Alliance” Roulette

Additionally, you will receive a large bonus point once a day (reset at midnight).

However, the points you get will vary greatly depending on the content you get.

For example, even with the same alliance roulette, the Crystal Tower gave me 457 points (including bonus points) and the Maha gave me 756 points, so it seems that the longer the content takes, the more points you get.

For now, it might be most efficient to play roulette once a day.

There’s quite a bit of luck involved, but if you play roulette once a day, it should take about two weeks to accumulate the points.

Waxing Arcanite x 3 (Allagan Tomestone of Mathematics x 1500)

Quest: Wrought by Hands Phantasmal

All that’s left now is to collect 1,500 Allagan tomestones of Mathematics (3x Waxing Arcanite)!

And now, onto the third stage! All you need are three things.

① Collect four items (you can just buy them)

② Go around the content and collect “Crystal Paste” (Leveling Roulette, etc.)

③ 3 Waning Arcanite (1,500 Allagan Tomestone of Mathematics) *This is all you need from the second one

The process is similar to the second stage.

Quest: Timeworn Techniques

First, you’ll need to collect four items.

This time you will need to collect a large amount of “Crystal Paste“. (Total 1,200 pieces)

The number needed increases from 100 at first, then 200, then 300, and finally 600 (a total of 1,200).

④ Gather “Memories of Battle” …… You’ll be making the rounds through various DAWNTRAIL content

Gathering the 4 Items

Quest: The Art of Rending Illusions

Just like before, the first step is to gather 4 items.

Gathering Phantom Dispellers

Quest: Phantoms to Fillet

Next, you’ll need to gather 100 each of 3 types of “Phantom Dispellers.”

These can be obtained from “Critical Encounters (CE)” and FATEs in Occult Crescent: North Horn, as well as from their respective Duty Roulettes.

Since Critical Encounters give you 10 at a time, it’s not too bad. If your totals end up lopsided, it’s a good idea to target the roulette for whichever type you’re short on at the end.

Next, you’ll gather 1,500 Allagan Tomestones of Mathematics (Ecliptic Arcanite ×3).

How to make the 4th stage Part 2 “Occultum”

Quest: Final Phantasm

Stage four continues a bit further, as you gather “Memories of Battle” to create the glowing, final form of the weapon.

Th-this is basically the DAWNTRAIL version of the “Trials of the Braves,” isn’t it…!? 💦

Honestly, the Phantom Weapon felt like it had a bit of an homage to the Zodiac Weapon in some ways, which gave it a nice nostalgic touch… though it was pretty tough too 💦

Hehe, and the fact that it turns into such a beautifully glowing weapon is nice too! And personally, I’m glad my big brother didn’t push himself too hard this time around, lol
