FF14 12th Anniversary: With Congratulations, Gratitude, and Prayers!

Twelve years is indeed a long time… It’s truly incredible.

I’ve been writing this Norirow Note Eorzea adventure log every day for over five years now, so when I hear that it’s been about 12 years since the rebirth of Eorzea, it does feel like that’s about right…

Twelve years is long enough for entire eras to change dramatically, so in that sense, the fact that such a wonderful world has continued for 12 years might truly be a miracle.

I’m deeply grateful that the world we live in has kept going strong.

Players Voice Project

This year, I was invited by Miina-san to participate in the Players Voice Project for FFXIV 12th Anniversary.

I’ve always wanted to express my gratitude to the development and operations team somehow, but there aren’t many opportunities to do so, so I’m thrilled to be invited to a project like this!

For such a kind, warm, and wonderful world to have continued for 12 years feels nothing short of miraculous. My sibling and I have been happily living in this world for so long. Thank you so much for creating this world we live in (*''▽'')

I know that developing and operating this game comes with many challenges, and there may be tough times as well, but please know that we are always cheering you on with all our hearts and walking alongside you!

I’ll continue to find the treasures you’ve created and record them carefully, one by one. I’m so excited to see what treasures await us next! ♪

I sincerely hope that this “other world to live in” continues for decades, even centuries, for so many people. .｡.:*

I’m just so happy and grateful that this kind, warm, and wonderful world has continued for so long.

This world is probably “another world to live in” for so many people, isn’t it?

In this world, we’re born, we meet and part with people, we experience joy, fun, and all sorts of emotions, and sometimes we struggle with relationships or mourn those we’ve met here who have passed on to the heavens… It’s no different from the real world. Truly, we are living in this world. Long before the word “metaverse” became trendy, we’ve been living in this “other world.”

And no matter where you go, this world is filled with beautiful scenery, thrilling adventures, and moments to chat about trivial things with friends… It’s always, always a kind world waiting for us.

It’s a place to return to, a place to live.

Thank you so much for letting us live here. My heart is full of gratitude.

Now that Shadowbringers and Endwalker have concluded and a new story has begun, I imagine this must be an incredibly busy time for the development and operations team. But we’re always cheering you on with all our might and walking alongside you. I know it’s a lot, but please take care of yourselves!

This was a struggle to put together because my always-absent big brother and free-spirited Namingway-chan were hard to wrangle, gosh! ( ´艸｀)w

We don’t often have photos together, so I thought this was a good opportunity and worked hard to make it happen (lol).

Going forward, my sibling and I want to keep living in this world and continue our adventures forever.

May this warm and kind world continue for a long, long time.
