This is a record of the Black Mage’s Phantom Weapon (PW) final stage weapon, the “Phantom Staff Occultum.”
Ta-da! I went ahead and evolved my Black Mage’s PW too♪
O-oh… is that a candle?
Purple wax is dripping off it — this really does look like a cursed candle of darkness……
Eclipticum
Before the final stage, you get a version without any glowing effect.
When you ready the staff, a blue flame lights on the candle.

Occultum
And when it reaches its final form, it takes on an even brighter glowing effect.
Look, look! Isn’t this purple aura so mysterious-looking~?
Along with the purple aura, a glowing ribbon of the same color swirls around it.
Another distinctive feature is the two rings of light spinning at the base of the staff.
The candle holder is metal, with chain ornaments too — a bit of chuuni flair, isn’t it?
The pale blue candle flame has an eerie feel to it as well.
Norico-chan, this isn’t so much mysterious as it is definitely a cursed staff……
Fufufu, don’t you think this dark, grown-up kind of mystique is lovely too?

There have been candle staves for White Mage before, but I feel like this is the first time I’ve seen such a dark candle
