It’s a Dark Knight sword that looks just like an enlarged cutlass, with a noble, antique charm.
The Maelstrom’s emblem is engraved on the knuckle guard.
The blade has the distinctive curve of a cutlass.
Cutlasses were swords used by pirates back in the age of sailing ships, so I guess they really are a perfect fit for the Maelstrom.
Exactly! And with such an elegant design, it really feels worthy of the Maelstrom!
