I saw Yozakura-chan in Mount Rokkon and had been wanting to wear this outfit forever~ ♪

The white and pink are so lovely — it’s a stylish outfit that blends traditional Japanese style with a modern touch.

What stands out most is the great big gourd carried on the back, painted with a cherry blossom design.

Around the waist there’s a seigaiha wave pattern with cherry blossoms — it almost has a yukata-like feel.

The soft, fluffy arm guards and leg warmers give the hands and feet a modern touch, and the sandals make it pop even more.

The way the obi in back is tied into a long, ribbon-like bow is just so lovely!

Fufu, and speaking of which, what a wonderfully adorable ninja outfit this turned out to be.

Yeah, yeah! I never imagined Yozakura-chan’s outfit would actually go on sale!

It went on sale on September 1st — 9/1. Makes me wonder if that’s a play on the Japanese word for “kunoichi” (female ninja), which is sometimes spelled out as 九の一 — literally “nine, one”?
