This is a record of the Machinist’s Mnemonics weapon, 『Bygone Brass Pistol』
Ta-daa! I got my hands on this gorgeous antique-style pistol♪
Oh, it’s got a bit of a steampunk feel — really cool!
It’s a compact little gun with a classical design, yet with just a touch of futurism woven in.
Look closely and you can tell it’s crafted from wood — and those brass fittings are wonderfully stylish.
The classic silhouette is complemented by what looks like an energy tank, giving it that hint of something futuristic.
Even the scope carries that antique air about it. The flared muzzle and the green inner grip are delightfully charming details.
The metal parts are adorned with elegant decorative engraving, too.
The straight lines of the wood and the rounded shapes of the metal strike a lovely balance — it really does have the most adorable classical character.
It’s just the right size, and it’s got that cool-cute-stylish thing going on all at once — I have a feeling this one’s going to see a lot of use ♪
It does have a slightly toy-like quality to it, which in a way might actually make it quite versatile for a range of coordinates.
